Crime of the week – Halifax Regional Police investigates break, enter and theft, Dartmouth, N.S.

Nova Scotia Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in solving a break, enter and theft to a business.

At approximately 4:50 a.m. on May 11, 2015, Halifax Regional Police responded to a break and enter at the Smoke Shop on Portland Street.

Preliminary investigation determined a suspect entered the business by forcing a door lock and smashing the wooden counter door. The suspect removed boxes of cigarettes and cigars valued at over $3,000. He is described as a white male, approximately 5’11’ tall, slim build, wearing dark jeans, a black hooded jacket, black gloves, dark blue cap and black and grey sneakers.
