Crime of the week – RCMP investigate related break and enters, Brookland, N.S.

Nova Scotia Crime Stoppers is asking for the public's help in solving two break and enters, considered related, in Pictou County. During the overnight hours of January 8th, 2015 suspects broke into the N.R.

Nova Scotia Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in solving two break and enters, considered related, in Pictou County.

During the overnight hours of January 8th, 2015 suspects broke into the N.R.

Kenney Logging operation on Back Rd. and stole a King Generator valued at $500 which had been bolted to the floor. Suspects broke the lock off of a metal housing unit and removed the generator and approximately 300 litres of fuel.

During the same night, suspects broke into the weight scale house at Scott Weeks Quarry, Head of Six Mile Brook Rd. in Six Mile Brook (or Scotsburn). Once inside, suspects stole two jerry cans of gasoline and then cut a lock and entered a tool storage area where they stole approximately 700 litres in bulk fuel.

Both of these crimes are considered related.
