Crime of the week – RCMP seeks help from public, Springhill, N.S.

Nova Scotia Crime Stoppers and Cumberland District RCMP is asking for the public's help in finding the person(s) responsible for property damage at a school in Springhill. In the early morning hours of June 24, 2015, unknown person(s) proceeded to damage 19 windows at West End Memorial School.

Nova Scotia Crime Stoppers and Cumberland District RCMP is asking for the public’s help in finding the person(s) responsible for property damage at a school in Springhill.

In the early morning hours of June 24, 2015, unknown person(s) proceeded to damage 19 windows at West End Memorial School.

The damage caused disruptions to the school’s operations and repair costs were significant.

Cumberland District RCMP is asking anyone who has information about this incident to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), text TIP202 + your message to ‘CRIMES’ (274637), or by Secure Web Tips at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca. Calls to Crime Stoppers are not taped or traced and if police make an arrest and lay charges based on a tip, callers qualify for a cash reward from $50 -$2000.
