Cumberland County RCMP arrest pair after firearm incident, Fox Point, N.S.

Parrsboro RCMP is investigating an incident that occurred last evening in Fox Point. At approximately 7 p.m., RCMP responded to a call of a shot fired at a vehicle while the occupant was exiting the pick-up truck.

At approximately 7 p.m., RCMP responded to a call of a shot fired at a vehicle while the occupant was exiting the pick-up truck.

The shot shattered the drivers side window and damaged the door in several places. The occupant was not injured. After the incident, the suspect left the scene in his vehicle. The suspect vehicle was located nearby and seized for further investigation.

At approximately 9:45 a.m. this morning, RCMP arrested a 67-year-old suspect and a 38-year-old suspect in the Port Greville area without incident. The men are facing several charges. The investigation is continuing. RCMP confirm this was not a random act.
