Friday, January 17, 2014 – Metro Transit’s Highfield Terminal will reopen to the public on Monday, January 20 after undergoing renovations for the seven months.

Some features of the renovated terminal include: • Longer and wider passenger platform • On site digital display of route information • Outside seating and shelters for passengers • Bike racks

As of January 20th, all routes that were detoured due to the construction will return to regular service.

As well, Route 52 Crosstown will have a minor routing adjustment that will see all buses service the Highfield Terminal. For information see: www.halifax.ca/metrotransit/highfieldterminalconstruction.html
