Two Overnight Robberies, One Suspect

At 1130 pm, 219 Pleasant St, Dartmouth, the Ultramar reported being robbed at knifepoint.  
The male suspect entered the Ultramar, demanded money from the male victim and the suspect produced a knife. Suspect description: White male, 40’s, jeans, black and white sweater, black and red hat and green bandana. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken during the robbery. The suspect fled the area on foot. No injuries.

At 0250 am Police responded to an alarm call at 303 Prince Albert Road in Dartmouth, Needs Convenience Store.  Upon arrival it was determined a robbery had occurred. Male suspect entered the store and produced a sharp rock and demanded cash from the male employee. Suspect obtained an undisclosed amount of cash, then fled on foot from the scene.
 
Suspect description: white male, 40’s, 5’8, 200lbs, black hat, brown winter coat, green mask.  Patrol members flooded the area and set up containment, eventually locating the suspect hiding near Braemar Dr.  A 41-year-old male is currently in custody and charges are pending. At this time it is believed this male is responsible for both robberies.
