Friday, May 6, 2016 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that there will be a lane closure in place on Dartmouth Road, between Wardour Street and Golf Links Road, on both Saturday, May 7 and Sunday, May 8. The lane closure is required to facilitate a water lateral installation along this section of Dartmouth Road. It’s anticipated this work will take two days to complete. During this time, stop-and-go traffic will be in place. Motorists should expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes, whenever possible. A temporary sidewalk will be in place and pedestrians will be directed around the work site as needed. The municipality regrets any inconvenience this work may cause. Source: Release
