Dartmouth’s Jacob Quillan signed to Maple Leafs

The Toronto Maple Leafs have signed Jacob Quillan, a promising forward from Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, to a two-year, entry-level contract starting next season. The contract is valued at an average annual amount of $875,000.

Quillan, a Dartmouth native, played a key role in winning the NCAA national championship last year with Quinnipiac, where he scored the decisive overtime goal and was awarded tournament MVP at the Frozen Four. In his junior season, he achieved 17 goals and 46 points in 39 games, accumulating 93 points over his three years of college hockey.
