Friday, Aug. 21, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising motorists that Demone Street in Halifax will be closed to traffic on Monday, Aug. 24, to facilitate work on underground pipes in the area.

The street will shut down at 7 a.m. between Robie Street and Agricola Street, and remain closed until about 7 p.m. that night. Crews will accommodate access for local traffic, as needed; however, there will be no parking on that stretch during the closure. Pedestrians will continue to have access.

Motorists are advised to find alternative routes, if possible. The municipality regrets any inconvenience this closure or the underground work may cause.
