HRP release:

Police are requesting public assistance in finding the owner of a quantity of money found in Bedford.

Today at approximately 10 a.m., police responded to a report of money found outside a building in the 0-100 block of Bluewater Road.

Police are asking the owner or anyone with information about the money to call police at 902-490-5020.

To claim the money, you must be able to provide details in relation of the amount, denominations and any other information useful in determining ownership.

We thank the people who found the money for doing the right thing and turning it over to police.
