Domestic dispute call ends with car crash, charges

Members were respond­ing to a domestic di­spute on Regent Dr in Dartmouth.

The 43-year-old accu­sed was just leaving in his car when the members were arrivi­ng. The accused acce­lerated toward the police vehicle, just missing it and crash­ing into a parked ca­r.

The accused was chec­ked by EHS and relea­sed.

The accused is being charged with domest­ic assault, property damage and dangerous driving.

There may be impaired driving charges but that is still being investigated at the time of this repor­t
