Police have a man in custody after an incident last night.

At 6:30 pm the Pinecrest beat officers responded to a report of a suspicious male in the 0-100 block of Albro Lake Road in Dartmouth. The male was reported to be going door to door attempting to sell drugs.  A 43 Year old male was located and found to be in possession of a variety of prescription drugs (hydromorphine, valium, clonazepam and oxycontin).  A brass knuckle switchblade combo was located on him as well.  He was arrested without incident at the scene and transported to HRP booking.  Once at booking he caused minor property damage.

 

He will appear in morning court with the following charges:  Possession of a prohibited weapon, 4 counts of Illegal possession of a controlled substance  and mischief under $5000.
