Doyle block – underground services

Tuesday, May 23, 2017 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that various traffic-control setups will be in place over the next week along Spring Garden Road, and along Brunswick and Queen streets. The added traffic control requirements are needed to help ensure the safety of work crews installing underground services near the Doyle block construction site. Traffic safety personnel will direct motorists, pedestrians, and cyclists around the worksite, as needed. Motorists should expect delays in the area and are asked to take alternative routes, if possible. Access to all local businesses will be maintained at all times. Sidewalks will be closed at times when excavations are taking place. Halifax Transit will have detours in place while this work is underway.
