Doyle Street – Blasting

Tuesday, July 26, 2016 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that blasting will take place at the Doyle Street construction site on a weekday basis over the next three months. This means traffic control personnel will be stopping vehicular and pedestrian traffic in the vicinity of the construction site approximately three times a day. Each stoppage will last approximately 5-10 minutes. During blasting, traffic will be temporarily blocked at a safe distance from the work site along Spring Garden Road, Queen Street, Doyle Street, and Brunswick Street. These temporary road closures are necessary to ensure motorists and pedestrians remain safe. The municipality apologizes in advance for any inconvenience these temporary road closures might cause.
