Driver ticketed after collision on Barrington St.

At 5:39 P.M; police responded to the 3800 block of Barrington St. for a report of a head-on​ collision.

A car heading South towards downtown​ driven by a 25-year-old woman crossed the center line and collided head-on with another car heading North driven by a 16-year-old boy and a 46-year-old male passenger. ​

All occupants were taken to hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Barrington St. was closed between Africville Rd and Glebe St. until 7 p.m.

The 25-year-old Truro woman was issued a Summary Offence Ticket for driving to the left of the center line when approaching a curve with less than 150m of visibility.
