At 0300hrs officers responded to a motor vehicle accident at the corner of Victoria Rd and Russell St., Dart. where a tractor trailer struck a tree.
Upon police arrival the driver of the tractor trailer was arrested for impaired driving.
The tractor trailer was in need of towing but the refrigerated product on board needed to be removed first.

The company that owned the product, facilitated the transfer of product which caused Victoria Rd to be shut down between Russell St and Chappell St.
The tractor trailer was being towed from the scene at time of this report and Victoria Rd will be reopened.
The driver of the tractor trailer was charged with impaired driving and will appear in court at a later date.
