A man and two women face charges as a result of a drug search in Halifax Wednesday night.
Just after 8 p.m. on May 31, officers from the Special Enforcement Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division, with the assistance of the West Quick Response Unit executed a search warrant at a residence on Willow Bend Court. As a result of the search, aquantity of crack cocaine, a small quantity of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and cash were located. A man and two women were arrested at the scene without incident.
A 21-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman, both from Halifax, as well as a 53-year-old-woman from Harrietsfield have been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking crack cocaine. They were released and are scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial court on July 4.
