A man faces charges after a drug search yesterday in Halifax.
At approximately 4 p.m., patrol members discovered a marijuana grow up at an apartment building in the 5600 block of Ontario Street in Halifax while responding to an unrelated call.
At 7:21 p.m., investigators assigned to the HRP/RCMP Integrated Drug Unit conducted a search of the apartment, resulting in the seizure of multiple marijuana plants, grow equipment, and drug paraphernalia. A 41-year-old man was arrested without incident and is scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court on October 9 to face charges of drug possession for the purpose of trafficking and cultivation.
