Emergency Response Team called out after robbery

  On Oct. 9th at 11:20 hrs the Halifax Regional Police responded to a robbery call in the 500 Block of Walter Havill Dr. in Halifax. This incident involved several suspects one of whom was armed with a handgun that was used to threaten four victims at the location, property was stolen during this event. This incident was not random as several of the suspects and victims were known to each other.

Update to this incident:
On Oct. 10 beginning shortly after 8:00 PM members of the Halifax Regional Police executed two search warrants in relation to the previously reported robbery. Due to the use of a firearm during the robbery the HRP Emergency Response Team was deployed to assist in the execution of one of the search warrants. All property and the firearm used in the commission of the offence were recovered by investigators. Three adult males were arrested during this operation and will appear in Halifax Provincial Court in the morning to face charges that include Robbery, Extortion, Drug and Firearms offences.
