That seems to be the resounding message from Sunday night’s episode of Entourage. E managed to make amends with his agency rival Scott Lavin, but he still found himself left out of the fun when he had to choose a visit with the wedding planner over a last-minute jaunt to Vegas.
But what are we to make of this? That our Entourage boys are growing up? Even Drama managed to keep his ego in check long enough to throw a game against John Stamos in order to get the pretty boy to consider doing Drama’s potential sitcom. Drama wasn’t always that level-headed. Is it maturity or desperation? And Turtle’s trip with Alex down to Mexico turned out to be totally legal – thank god it didn’t involve smuggling things over the border. All he has to do is convince Vince to be the face of Alex’s friend’s tequila company.
Ari, once again, was operating completely separately from the rest of the guys. Top of the World Ari doesn’t have enough interaction with Vince. No – Top of the World Ari doesn’t have enough interaction with Drama. And where’s Lloyd? Things seemed like they’re going well for Ari and his L.A. football team, but trouble’s a brewin’ – and her name is Lizzie. Lizzie quit last week after Ari wouldn’t promote her (and can you blame her?) but she didn’t leave quietly. She left a few choice words behind and planned on taking some choice clients with her. I like Lizzie’s character and I like seeing Ari challenged. I just wish they somehow interacted with Vince and the boys more.
Overall, the episode was a little dull – not much seemed to really happen. So Drama might be getting his sitcom with Stamos, Turtle might be asking Vince to represent a tequila brand, E might be feeling left out and Vince…what about Vince? Is he still going off the rails? He seemed his usual carefree self this week. For the show’s star he isn’t getting much plot so far this season, and I want that to change. What did you think of “Tequila Sunrise”?
