Severe thunderstorm watch for
Halifax Metro and Halifax County West issued
Thunderstorms are likely this afternoon or this evening over Nova Scotia. Strong winds, heavy downpours of rain and possible hail may occur with some of these storms.
This is an alert to the potential development of severe thunderstorms with large hail and damaging winds.
Monitor weather conditions..listen for updated statements. If threatening weather approaches take immediate safety precautions.
