Eskasoni RCMP seize drugs and cash after executing residential search warrants and a vehicle stop. During the morning of April 9th, 2015, Eskasoni RCMP executed two search warrants at residences on Castle Bay Rd.

During the morning of April 9th, 2015, Eskasoni RCMP executed two search warrants at residences on Castle Bay Rd.

, Eskasoni. As a result, police seized a quantity of prescription pills, marijuana, methadone and cash.

Twenty-eight year old Keith Geoffrey Denny of Eskasoni was arrested without incident and has been charged with:

– Possession of Hydromorphine for the Purpose of Trafficking

– Possession of a Controlled Substance x 3

Denny has been held in custody and will be appearing in Sydney Provincial Court on April 10th, 2015.

Unrelated to the residential searches, later that afternoon at approximately 4 p.m., Eskasoni RCMP executed a vehicle stop on Shore Rd., Eskasoni. As a result, a result a large quantity of oxycodone was seized.

Forty-year-old Eugene Daniel Paul Junior of Eskasoni was arrested without incident and has been charged with Possession of Oxycodone for the Purpose of Trafficking.

Paul has been held in custody and will be appearing in Sydney Provincial Court on April 10th, 2015.
