Fostering Intercultural Understanding and Diversity

Come share your cultural values and heritage with a diverse audience, to build bridges and understanding with other communities in your city. Discuss challenges associated with integration or expectations and acceptance from the mainstream Canadian value system.

Challenge your thinking and relations with others, while contributing to dialogue and ideas of how to address prejudice and discrimination in your Canadian workplace and community.

We welcome everyone with a distinct cultural identity they would like to share, with particular welcome to newcomers, first, and second/third generation Canadians.

Objectives

 i. Promote Canadian values of protecting and fostering multiculturalism and diversity

ii. Build bridges to nurture understanding between ethnocultural communities, through dialogue on cultural values and challenges in the Canadian context.
