Fifth Person Arrested in Connection With Dartmouth Stabbing

 
Investigators in the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division have charged another man in connection with a stabbing that happened in Dartmouth Tuesday.
 
At approximately 2:30 a.m. on February 2, a patrol officer was walking in the area of the 0-100 block of Primrose Street in Dartmouth. The officer was approached by a citizen asking for help as two people had been stabbed in a nearby residence. Officers attended the scene and located a 49-year-old man and an 18-year-old man who were both suffering from stab wounds to their extremities. They were transported to hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries and have since been released. 
 
Shortly after the incident, Emergency Response Team members arrested a male youth, two men and one woman in the area of Catherine Street and Farrell Road in Dartmouth in relation to this incident. They were already charged in this matter and all appeared in court on Wednesday.
 
Twenty-year-old Codie Kenneth Bruce Horne was arrested last night in Dartmouth without incident by the East Quick Response Unit. He has been charged with two counts of assault with a weapon, two counts of assault with a weapon causing bodily harm, two counts of robbery, break and enter, two counts of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and two counts of breach of probation.  He is scheduled to appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court this morning.
