Film Productions Announced

Nova Scotia Business Inc. (NSBI) has announced four newly approved productions through the Nova Scotia Film and Television Production Incentive Fund today, Nov. 14.Documentary, Somebeachsomewhere, produced by Some Where Productions Inc., is approved for a funding commitment of $97,058 based on eligible Nova Scotia expenditure of $313,092.Documentary, Slainte, produced by Winter Light Productions Limited, is approved for a funding commitment of $227,200 based on a Nova Scotia expenditure of $710,000. Television special, Trailer Park Boys, Live at Red Rocks, produced by TPB RR Productions Incorporated, is approved for a funding commitment of $275,681 based on a Nova Scotia expenditure of $889,295.Documentary, Woodstock Bus: Finding The Light, produced by Woodstock Bus Productions Inc., is approved for a funding commitment of $40,476 based on eligible Nova Scotia expenditure of $147,186More details about productions approved for incentives through the Nova Scotia Film and Television Production Incentive Fund are available on the NSBI website at www.nsbi.ca/filmfunding. Quick facts:-- the fund applies to eligible costs such as labour, goods or services purchased from a Nova Scotia–based supplier-- when an application is approved, NSBI issues a commitment letter which can be used for bank financing.
