Fire accelerant thrown through front window of home

At about 1:55 am members of the Halifax Regional Police responded to the 0-100 block of McFatridge Rd in Halifax for a property damage call. 
At about 1:55 am members of the Halifax Regional Police responded to the 0-100 block of McFatridge Rd in Halifax for a property damage call. 
The caller reported an object had been thrown through the front window of the residence.  Upon arrival officers noted the front window of residence was smashed and there were two broken bottles on the ground. It appeared that the bottles had some sort of accelerant in them but they did not ignite. A K9unit was deployed but could not locate the suspects. The investigation is continuing .
