Charges are pending against an adult male after a search in Priestville, Nova Scotia.

On August 20th at approx. 5:30 p.m., the Pictou County Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit (SCEU) executed search warrants at a residence on Walkerville Road.

A 40-year-old male was arrested without incident. Police seized a small quantity of unstamped cigarettes, cocaine, various prescription and amphetamine pills and five long barrel firearms.

The man was released from custody and will appear in Pictou Provincial Court on December 1st, 2014 on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Unstamped Tobacco under the Excise Act and Unsafe Storage of Firearms under the Criminal Code. The investigation continues.
