On June 21st at 5:40pm, police responded to a report of a break and enter into a residence in the 6300 block of London Street in Halifax. During the course of the investigation it was learned that a number of long barreled firearms were stolen from the residence after the suspect forced open a gun safe. Shortly before 9pm officers located the suspect in the incident and upon arrest, recovered the 4 firearms that were stolen from the residence. As a result of this investigation, an adult male will be appearing in Halifax Provincial Court later today on charges related to this break and enter.
