I was also really looking forward to the flat iron because of the style allows you to also use the flat iron as a curling iron to create loose curls or waves. I hit youtube hard for inspirational and instructional videos.
The Scoop:
Smaller Wand Size: The size of the iron allows you to get really close to the scalp without burning yourself. I have these little tiny fine hairs around the front of my hair that stick out like devil horns if they are not contained, and this iron was the perfect size to get into those little nooks and crannies. Also as I mentioned before the size allows for you to be able to not only flat iron your hair, but also create curls, and waves: BONUS!
Gently Glides Through Hair: This iron easily glides through your hair without pulling. I’ve had irons before that I’ve used and upon completion I did in fact have straight hair, but I also lost most of it to the floor. I’d turn around and it would look like I was malting or shedding my winter coat.
High Heat: The high heat allows for you to move quickly through your hair to help minimize breakage. I flat iron my hair A LOT, and I happen to have A LOT of hair, and I’d really like to keep it that way, and the last thing I want is split ends. I really liked this iron because it was hot, and so I could whip through ironing my hair in a pinch.
Convenient Carrying Case: Do not under-estimate this luxury. If you are anything like me and you travel a lot having a case to through this bad boy in is beyond great! I always worry about tossing it into my bag full of other crap, and it getting banged around. I mean flat irons are expensive and I really don’t want it to get broken by accident from being tossed around with my bags in the car or wherever.
