Flu clinic on Nov 26 at Single Parent Centre

Chebucto Connections has circulated the following notice regarding flu shots:

The seasonal influenza (flu) vaccine is free for all Nova Scotians this year (2010/2011). This vaccine will protect against three strains of the flu that are predicted this season, including H1N1.

All Nova Scotians are encouraged to get vaccinated but it is strongly recommended for people at high risk of flu-related complications and for those who care for them.

# Stay home if you are sick
# Cough and sneeze into your sleeve
# Wash your hands often with soap and water (or use alcohol-based hand sanitizer)
# Do not share drinking glasses, utensils or personal-care items

Get ready for your flu shot by:

# Wearing short sleeves or a loose-fitted shirt
