Steve Sumarah’s rejuvenated Huskies will be trying to extend their winning streak to three games at Huskies Stadium vs. Gary Waterman’s youthful Saint Francis Xavier X-Men.

Huskies Notes

Jahmeek Taylor has been named AUS Special Teams player of the week the last two weeks. Taylor ran back punts of 63 and 56 yards vs. X last Friday.Taylor leads the conference in all purpose yards with 919…..the Huskies are the only team in the conference to have more points scored than points against (123-111)….Placekicker Brett Lauther has stepped in nicely this season for the departed Justin Palardy. Lauther has been true on eight of nine field goal attempts this season….Craig Leger is the AUS leading rusher with an average of 62 yards per game….the Huskies are by far the most penalized team in the league, averaging nearly 100 yards a game lost to infractions.….SMU is dead last in passing efficiency with a rating of 90, nearly 44 points below Mount Allison, the conference leader. The X-Men have not beaten the Huskies at the Stadium in over a decade and have been outscored by an average of 30 points per game.
