Frugal Tips from CBC Kids and a Giveaway

Last Thursday I was one of the Canadian Media Moms invited to spend time on the set of kids CBC.

Guess who was there Patty Sullivan, who happens to be on maternity leave and her precious angel and Mamma Yamma.

Well being the frugal mom that I am I had to ask Patty and Mamma Yamma for some frugal tips.

Both had one:

Patty is shopping online and comparing prices and looking for the best deals. She often finds great deals by using group buying sites. Do you use them?  I do and so does Patty. Smart Woman.

Mamma Yamma has to be the frugalest yam I have ever met. She has a rule of thumb too and that is never shop when you are hungry. She says eat before you shop or you will buy too much. She is right: fuel up before you go.

When I was leaving the CBC I was given a little swag bag and in it was something perfect for a giveaway. I was given a CD of music from Mamma Yamma and Friends.  On the CD you have music from Patty, Mamma Yamma, The Barenaked Ladies, Captain Claw, Rupert Harvey, Ron Sexsmith and Amy Milan to list some.
