Gottingen Street – Sidewalk Replacement

Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2015 (Halifax, NS) –  The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that crews will be replacing a portion of the sidewalk along the east side of Gottingen Street in Halifax starting on Thursday, Sept. 10.

Work will begin at 9 a.m. between Cornwallis Street and Falkland Street, and will continue until about 4 p.m. Crews will maintain two lanes of traffic on Gottingen at all times during this work and the sidewalk on the west side will remain open for pedestrians.

This work is expected to continue through to Saturday, Sept. 12, depending on the weather. If needed, crews will be back on site to finish on Monday, Sept. 14. The municipality regrets any inconvenience this work or the sidewalk closure may cause.
