Halifax District RCMP investigate break, enter and theft, Upper Tantallon, N.S.


Halifax District is investigating a break, enter and theft into a residence.

At approximately 8:30 p.m. last night, Halifax District RCMP responded to a break, enter and theft from a residence on Hubley Mill Lake Rd. A preliminary investigation determined that suspect(s) entered the residence via a window and stole a number of items including electronics, hand tools and a quantity of cash.

Police believe that the suspect(s) left the area by stealing a vehicle parked at the residence. Police are currently looking for a 2013 Ford F-150 pickup truck with Nova Scotia license plate FRZ 008.

Investigators are asking anyone with information on this break-in to contact 902-244-7208 or any RCMP office, Halifax Regional Police or Nova Scotia Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS ( 8477 ), texting TIP202 + your message to ‘CRIMES’ (274637) or by Secure Web Tips at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca . Calls to Crime Stoppers are not taped or traced and if police make an arrest and lay charges based on a tip, callers qualify for a cash reward from $50 – $2000.
