As a result of the collision a red Hyundai Elantra with two female occupants ended up in a ditch, where it hit several boulders, causing extensive damage to the vehicle. The occupants stated they were travelling on the road when a dark coloured SUV approached them, from the opposite direction, then crossed over into their lane, forcing them off the road.

Both suffered minor injuries and were taken to hospital for treatment.

The RCMP would like to speak to the driver of the other vehicle involved in this collision and are asking that person to contact the police.
