Halifax District RCMP investigate stolen vehicle destroyed by fire, Beaver Bank, N.S.

Halifax District RCMP is investigating after locating a stolen vehicle had been burned and left in Beaver Bank. On Monday August 3, at approximately 10:15 a.m., Halifax District RCMP responded to a complaint of a burnt 2013 White GMC Sierra 4-wheel drive pick-up truck at the old Air Force Radar site near Neil Peters Rd.

Halifax District RCMP is investigating after locating a stolen vehicle had been burned and left in Beaver Bank.

On Monday August 3, at approximately 10:15 a.m., Halifax District RCMP responded to a complaint of a burnt 2013 White GMC Sierra 4-wheel drive pick-up truck at the old Air Force Radar site near Neil Peters Rd.

Prior to police arrival, Halifax Regional Fire and Emergency were on scene and the truck was still hot and smoke was visible. However all the combustible and flammable liquids had burned away. The vehicle’s company name, Teak Tree Enterprises, remained visible. Some landscaping equipment, believed to have been on the back of the truck, was found on the ground near by. It is believed the truck was stolen from the company compound on Lakeview Rd. in Lakeview sometime after 3 p.m. on Saturday, August 1.
