Halifax District RCMP is investigating a break and enter to the Camp Harris Scout Camp in Mineville. On August 1 at approximately 7:30 p.m. officers responded to a report of a break and enter.

On August 1 at approximately 7:30 p.m. officers responded to a report of a break and enter.

On arrival, officers found that six buildings had sustained property damage as individual (s) had attempted to break-in. Four of the buildings had windows broken or tampered with and two buildings sustained damages to doors including Booth Camp. The culprits made entry into the building known as Booth Camp and stole a small quantity of cash.

The last camp ended on July 30. It is believed the damage occurred sometime between July 30 and August 1.
