Halifax District RCMP responded to a motor vehicle collision involving injury between a motorcycle and a truck on Highway 224.

On Wednesday, August 19 at approximately 3:40 p.m.

, Halifax District RCMP was called to a motor vehicle collision between a truck and a motorcycle on Highway 224 near Cooks Brook Rd. and Lake Egmont Rd. in Cooks Brook. The driver of the motorcycle was transported to hospital via LifeFlight with undetermined injuries. The driver of the truck was not injured.

A section of Highway 224 between Cooks Brook Rd. and Lake Egmont Rd. was closed to traffic in both directions while an RCMP traffic analyst examined the scene. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
