Police investigate suspicious fire, Beaver Bank, N.S.

Halifax District RCMP and Halifax Fire and Emergency responded to a suspicious shed fire on Beaver Bank Rd. last evening.

At approximately 9:50 p.m. last night, Halifax District RCMP and Halifax Fire and Emergency responded to a shed fire in the 2000 block of Beaver Bank Rd.

Fire fighters found the structure completely engulfed in flames when they arrived on scene, but managed to contain the blaze to just the shed. The shed was unoccupied, and a home on the property was not damaged.

Preliminary investigation determined that the cause of the fire is considered suspicious. The General Investigation Unit of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division is leading the investigation.
