Halifax District RCMP responds to Lower Sackville robbery, Lower Sackville, N.S.

Shortly after midnight, Halifax District RCMP responded to a call about a robbery in progress on Sackville Dr. Preliminary investigation determined that a 21-year-old male was walking alone on Sackville Dr.

Shortly after midnight, Halifax District RCMP responded to a call about a robbery in progress on Sackville Dr.

Preliminary investigation determined that a 21-year-old male was walking alone on Sackville Dr.

and was approached by a lone male with a knife. The victim’s cell phone and a black and orange ‘Gravitation’ brand backpack were taken. The victim was not harmed.

The suspect fled on foot towards Beaver Bank Cross Rd. and is described as 5′ 7′ tall, wearing all black clothing. No further description is available. Police Dog Services were called to the scene, however were unable to locate the suspect.
