Halifax man arrested for indecent act

Halifax Regional Police arrest a man in connection with an indecent act that occurred last week in Dartmouth.

At approximately 8:15 p.m. on May 18, a man entered a business in the 100 block of Hector Gate in Dartmouth. The man asked to try on clothes in the dressing room. A female employee opened the door for the man and when she turned around, the man exposed his penis and then put his hand on her shoulder. The woman ran to the front of the store. The man exited the changing room area and went to the front of the store where he briefly spoke with other staff members before exiting the store and leaving in a blue four-door sedan.

A 24-year-old Halifax man was arrested yesterday morning without incident in an apartment building in the 500-block of Washmill Lake Drive. He is to appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court on July 12 at 9:30 a.m.
