Halifax Man Faces One Count of Voyeurism

Police arrested a suspect last night in relation to a voyeurism incident that occurred in Halifax last month.

On September 14, a woman contacted police to report an incident that took place at the Sobeys located at 287 Lacewood Drive in Halifax. While she was shopping in the store, a witness observed a man who appeared to have taken an inappropriate photo of her without her knowledge or permission. 
 
On September 24, police released a picture of the suspect taken from video surveillance. Police received several tips from the public following the publication of the picture.
 
On October 15 at approximately 7:10 p.m., police arrested a man without incident at a residence on Barkton Lane in Halifax.  A 29-year-old Halifax man remains in police custody and is scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court today to face one count of voyeurism.
