Man arrested after Lunenburg County RCMP interrupt break and enter in progress, Blandford, N.S.

2015/10/16 Lunenburg County RCMP is investigating a break and enter on Blandford Rd. in Blandford which occurred yesterday afternoon.At approximately 3 p.m. yesterday, Lunenburg County RCMP responded to a 911 call of a residential break and enter in progress on Blandford Rd.

Lunenburg County RCMP is investigating a break and enter on Blandford Rd. in Blandford which occurred yesterday afternoon.

At approximately 3 p.m. yesterday, Lunenburg County RCMP responded to a 911 call of a residential break and enter in progress on Blandford Rd.

When officers arrived on scene they found a 28-year-old man inside the home. The suspect was arrested immediately and taken into police custody. There were no other people in the house at the time. Based on further investigation into this incident RCMP believe this male is responsible for committing other break and enters in the area recently.

RCMP is asking residents in the area of Highway 329, known as the Aspotogan Loop, to check their residences or seasonal homes and report any sign of a break and enter to the RCMP in Chester at 902-275-3583.
