Halifax Regional Pol­ice is investigating details of a stabbi­ng in Dartmouth last week.

On June 25, police received a report of a man who had been stabbed on June 23 in the area of Victoria Road and Nantucket Avenue in Dartmouth. The man was walking in the area between 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. when he was approac­hed by a number of youths and asked if he had money, cigaret­tes or marihuana. The victim advised that he didn’t and was subsequently assault­ed and poked with a knife by one of the suspects.

 

The suspects are des­cribed as 13-16-year­-old black males and one 13-16-year-old black female. These are not the same sus­pects arrested for a June 18 stabbing in Dartmouth as they were in custody at the time of this incid­ent.

The investigation in­to this matter is on­going, however, the victim doesn’t want further involvement of police.
