Halifax Regional Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred in Bedford this evening.
Shortly after 6 p.m. police received a report of a robbery that had just occurred on Damascus Road in Bedford. A lone male entered a business on Damascus Road with a handgun demanding money from the staff. He fled the business with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect is described as a white male, tall and thin wearing a black hoodie, a black tuque and his face was also covered. No one was injured in the robbery.
Members from the integrated General Investigative Section are on scene and the investigation is continuing.
