Halifax Regional Police are investigating an armed​ robbery that occurred in​ Bedford this evening.

Shortly after​ 6 p.m.​ police received a report of a robbery that had just occurred on Damascus Road in Bedford.​ A lone male entered a business on Damascus Road with a handgun demanding money from the staff.​ He fled the business with an undisclosed amount of cash.​ The suspect is described as a white male, tall and thin wearing a black hoodie, a black tuque and his face was also covered. No one was injured in the robbery.​

Members from the integrated General Investigative Section are on scene and the investigation is continuing.​ ​
