Halifax Regional Police are Investigating the Robbery of a Drug Mart in Dartmouth

At 4:20 p.m. yesterday, a woman entered the Family Drug Mart at 382 Portland Street in Dartmouth. She proceeded to the pharmacy counter, threatened staff with a can of sensory irritant and demanded drugs. The woman fled the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of prescription drugs and cash. No one was physically injured during the robbery.

Police are releasing pictures of the woman taken from video surveillance. She is described as a white woman, approximately 6’ tall. At the time of the robbery, she was wearing a black hoodie over her head, grey sweat pants and a black bandana covering her face.
