At 12:17 a.m., police responded to a building located in the 5600 block of Spring Garden Rd in Halifax for a bomb threat after a call service received a threatening phone call from an anonymous caller.  Once on scene police determined the wrong address was provided by the complainant and the threat was actually directed to a building located in the 100 block of Wyse Rd. in Dartmouth.  Police quickly contained the area shutting down parts of Wyse Rd., Nantucket Ave. and as a precaution the Macdonald Bridge was closed.

The building was thoroughly searched with the assistance of K9 and nothing suspicious was located.

All roads and the Macdonald Bridge are now open.
