Halifax Regional Police is investigating a robbery which occurred this afternoon in Halifax.

At approximately 4:26 p.m. officers responded to a robbery at a business located in Park Lane Mall, 5657 Spring Garden Road, Halifax.

A male entered the ENVY store and stole a jacket.​ While fleeing the business he pushed a female employee and uttered threats. ​ The employee was not injured.

At 4:30 pm officers located the suspect walking along Grafton Street where he was arrested without incident.​ The stolen property was recovered and returned to the store.

A 41 year old male has been charged with robbery, two counts of breaching a probation and one count of ​ breaching a recognizance.

He has been remanded to the Central Nova Scotia Correctional Facility.
