Traffic Advisory – Main Avenue – Water Main Repair
(November 17, 2021) From 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Thursday, November 18, Halifax Water crews will be working to repair a water main near 245 Main Avenue, Halifax. Water service in the area will be maintained during this repair. Two lanes of traffic will be maintained around this work. Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows. The sidewalk near this work will be closed. Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones. We apologize for any inconvenience this necessary infrastructure improvement work may cause.
